Her post went viral, and the he or she cake or gender reveal cake was born. From then on, people wanted to show the gender of their baby in increasingly unique ways. The gender reveal cake remains a true classic and reappears at almost every gender reveal party. The trend has, logically, also spread to the Netherlands, and here too, more and more expectant parents are choosing to announce the gender of their baby with a gender reveal cake.
